Since the first time I saw the necklace of Carrie in 'The Sex and the city' episodes I knew I wanted one like hers. Unfortunately I couldn't find one in my name anywhere throughout the years. That changed when I stumbled on this fantastic online website MijnNaamKetting.nl (English: MyNameNecklace.co.uk). On their online shop you can make all kinds of personalized jewelry from rings to necklaces. You can choose between different kinds of fonts, colors, sizes and of course you can write whatever you like.

Their service is really good, I got mine within a week. As for the packaging it comes in a transport safe envelope so the little box doesn't get damaged. The little box is quite a nice box with a magnetic sealing.

When I got to choose one, the choice was pretty hard. I was doubting between my name or 'Love'. Finally, as you can see in the pictures, I went with my name. It's a very classic choice but I'm a very happy girl with it.
Since I'm more a silver than a gold kind of girl I went with the 'Sterling Silver' version in 16" (40cm), which costs for the moment €29,95.

Recap of my weekend

I wanted to write this blog post yesterday for you guys, but I was so tired of a whole day of class that I couldn't resist myself of falling asleep.
I hope there is nothing wrong with a 'recap of my weekend'-post on Tuesday.

So here we go... Since the passed week was such a beautiful sunny week, my boyfriend and I decided to go to the Belgium coast for the weekend to enjoy a little bit of sun. Unfortunately there was more sun here in Brussels than there was at the seaside, but what ever we enjoyed our weekend anyways!

6. Thanks to the beautiful Alexa Chung advertisements of Superga I found my Superga's back. I forgot about them... But now I'm craving for some other colours! They are perfect to wear for a walk on the beach.

New in // Jeans shorts

When it comes to jeans shorts I'm a real sucker! They are so easy to throw on on a lovely summer day and so easily to combine. Besides you can dress them up or down and they'll never get out of fashion (Well, not in my opinion..)
So when I saw this sweet pair hanging there in the store I couldn't leave without fitting aaand... yes buying them!

Recap of my week

Today was finally a sunny day here in Belgium! Please summer, BEGIN! :) Life is a lot easier and happier when the sun does her job and shines.

The rest of my week was pretty busy but overall it was a fun week. Since I'm a little bit addicted to Instagram (If you aren't following me yet; Instagram me @Carlotaschuerm) I'll let the pictures do the speaking.

1. & 2. I went for some cupcakes on Tuesday with my lovely friends from school. One of them turned 21, Happy Birthday, Jeej! :) @Merrily's atelier sucré (Avenue Jean volders, 1060 Sint-Gillis (Brussels))

3. Of course we held some shopping breaks on Tuesday before and after eating cupcakes. We explored the new A&F in Brussels, but were very quickly back outside. Too dark and too much perfume, sorry! Luckily the boys didn't disappoint us... And did I score a awesome pair of jeggings. They are so comfy!

4. On Thursday I went for a trip to the H&M before and in between my classes and scored this beautiful blouse from the Marni collection. Unfortunately I'm going to bring it back to the store. I'm doubting too much about how to combine it, I don't think I'm going to have much wear out of it for 80 euros and it's a tad to big for me. Even though it was the smallest size (34), so if anybody wants to buy it before I return it, SHOUT! :)

5. I spend the whole weekend cleaning up my room and reorganising it. There is a weird little person in me who loves doing this! Especially when it's the end of the winter and the sun is already peaking through.

6. My Ipod is telling me it's going to be a nice sunny week, let's hope it will be!! I'm totally ready for it!

With this kind of weather here in Belgium I wear my little faux fur coat a lot lately. It's one of those layers you can really combine with everything!
