My current skincare routine

It has been quite a long time I wrote something about beauty.
But because the weather has been pretty crazy here in Belgium I'm not really in the mood for outfit posts.
I don't even have any inspiration when it comes to putting an outfit together, I just keep staring at my closet. "A closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear" is definitely the case here right now ;)

So let's talk about skincare! I'm quite an addict and a product junkie when it comes to my skin. I like to test out new products and if they effectively work, it makes me happy.
There is only one problem with my skin, it's abnormal sensitive and dry. So most of the time I stay with products from the pharmacy because they don't make me look like a tomato and soothe my skin.
Who wants to look like a tomato?!

In the morning:
So I always begin my ritual with the solution micellaire from Bioderma. Then I go in to the shower and maybe wash my face with water or scrub it with the Clarins Deux Polissant. I like this scrub because of the fine grains in it. They aren't to aggressive for my skin. Afterwards I use or the Sensibio rich to moisturize my skin if it's sensitive and if it's really dry I use the NUTRIC with 5% Biolipides to feed my skin. Through the additional lipids your skin completely recovers.
Then I finish off by HYDRAPHASE INTENSE on my eyes. This gel locks in the moisture quite good. I don't like too thick eye cremes throughout the day.
My face is now prepped to put on my make-up.

In the evening:
I begin with the first step as in the morning; the solution micellaire from Bioderma. It really removes all of your make-up without any problems or hard rubbing needed. Even the hardest eyeliner will be removed.
Then afterwards, if I'm not to lazy, I wash my face with the Clarins Pure Melt Cleasing Gel, this is an oil based cleanser but doesn't leave your face greasy at all. It just leaves a nice nourishing film. If my skin is really dry I even add some additional oil, the Huile Santal from Clarins. In the beginning I was afraid to put oil on my face, I thought it was going to break me out, but that's definitely not the case with this one. It makes your skin look so nice in the morning.
Finally I finish again my routine off by the BIODERMA Sensibio Rich or the LA ROCHE-POSAY NUTRIC moisturiser.

Grey day

I'm already a few days back now from the seaside. It was so much fun with all the girls! For the rest I just enjoyed some time with my boyfriend, we went to see Titanic in 3D and visited some family.

Now back to the real life... school! And in a few weeks it's time again for the so 'beloved' exams. But for now some better news. This morning I went finally after I think 7 months(!!!) back to the hairdresser. I was too afraid to go to one in Spain because I've so thin hair, I didn't think they could handle it since they are used to cut beautiful thick Spanish hair... haha

Overall I think my hairdresser did a great job, I love it!

I'm also wearing my faux fur vest again because for some reason it's soooo cold again here in Belgium! So crazy. They are even predicting snow again?! Please no, just let the summer begin!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I definitely had a great one. Yesterday I went to visit my family, it was pretty fun to see everyone back. Because they don't live that close to me. We got a lot of Easter eggs from my grandparents and ate loads of food, especially cake! I already took the good intention of eating healthier after this vacation, because I went a bit overboard with all the yummie food...

Isn't he just the cutest little chocolate sheep ever?!
I found him on the cake! ^^

And what do you think of my Easter nail polish? (Lovie Dovie by Essie)

Now I'm off to the Belgium seaside for a few days with my lovely girlfriends! I'm looking forward to it!

Sleep tight, and let it quickly be tomorrow!

New in // Shirts

I can't deny that I'm a little bit addicted to shirts lately. These two are my latest addition to my collection.
It was the first time I bought something from ZARA online. Normally I'm more the type of person who likes to feel the fabric and fit it first before I buy. But there is always a first time for everything, right?! And I must admit I was pretty impressed by there service. So definitely not the last time I'm shopping on ZARA online!
